Greenville Mayor Steve Willman was joined by a group of students from Greenville Schools for the signing of a proclamation dedicating the week of April 5 through 9 as “We are the Majority Week.”

GREENVILLE Greenville Mayor Steve Willman signed a proclamation on Friday, April 2 dedicating the week of April 5 through 9 as “We are the Majority Week,” in Greenville. The proclamation encourages all citizens to join together in learning more about “the importance of living a positive, healthy lifestyle for a vibrant, safe, and secure community.”
A number of students from the Greenville branch of “We are the Majority” were in attendance for the signing. Students of all ages were able to meet the mayor and share their ideas for how they are working to influence their peers to stay drug, tobacco, and alcohol free. ....

As a Wave 1 participant, the Coalition for a Healthy Darke County, the county’s local health and wellness collaborative, is working with the National Institutes of Health’s HEALing Communities Study to identify key service areas where grant monies can make a difference in the lives of those with OUD, and ultimately, to decrease the number of opioid overdose deaths by 40 percent. Matt Aultman of Versailles has been elected to his first three-year term on the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation board of trustees representing Farm Bureau members in Champaign, Clark, Darke and Miami counties. As one of Ohio Farm Bureau’s 26 trustees, he will help govern the state’s largest and most inclusive farm and food organization.
Aultman and his wife, Morgan, along with their two children, Sophia and William, raise row crops, hay, produce, mums, cut flowers, Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and Californian, New Zealand, Rex and Mini Rex rabbits. A lifelong Darke County Farm Bureau member, he has served on the county Farm Bureau board for the past 12 years. ....
