“I ended up getting involved and I really like it because I’m learning a lot about emergency management as well as working with a team to mitigate emergencies,” Sirajee said.
“My role specifically as an emergency responder, whenever there’s situations such as there is a fire or a flood and someone … can no longer live in their home, my team steps in and we, with about three to five people usually, we figure out OK, where will they stay, do they have a need for clothing, do they have a need for food, all those things.” ....
