The Health Promotion Centre of the Ministry of Health (MoH) launched another Healthy Dining Programme at Charcoal BBQ and Grill Restaurant in Batu Satu yesterday, in the bid to educate and increase awareness among the public on the importance of healthy eating.
At present, 24 food outlets have participated in the programme. A total of 35 per cent of the menu in the restaurant are considered as healthier options.
Food outlets wishing to join the programme will have to comply with the Healthy Dining guideline’s of the Health Promotion Centre, where one criteria in the guideline includes any food outlet to serve at least 25 per cent of healthier choice menu. ....
