Grand View Lodge isn’t typically a venue for vaccination clinics, but this Thursday, April 22, the major local employer will host one for its employees and their families.
“We’re really emphasizing safety,” said Merrick Dresnin, director of human resources at the Nisswa resort. “We’re not mandating vaccines, but we want to have that option as available and as convenient for our employees and their families as possible.” ....

Crow Wing County Public Health is coordinating with area healthcare providers and GuidePoint Pharmacy to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to individuals in the next priority groups that include educators, child care providers and individuals 65 and older.
While the Minnesota Department of Health continues to stress that there is a very limited supply of COVID-19 vaccine at this time, the Crow Wing County Public Health team remains vigilant in monitoring this situation and asks for patience.
“We are working hard to coordinate a community vaccination system so we can be ready along with clinics, hospitals and pharmacies. Our top priority is to be ready when we receive word of additional vaccines sent our direction. We are grateful for this partnership ....
