Following a year of tight restrictions, visitation rules will be eased next month in the province’s long-term care centres, Premier Jason Kenney said Monday.
As of May 10, residents will be allowed visits by up to four family members and designated supporters, up from the current two.

And outdoor visitation can include as many as 10 people, double what’s now allowed, although masking and other health protocols must still be followed. Alberta premier Jason Kenney defended the rights of his caucus members to “speak their minds” after two MLAs joined a national group calling for an end to public-health restrictions meant to curb the spread of COVID-19.
