Rave party in Rachakonda hills: 7 organizers and 90 students, private software employees held; Addictive seize

During the raids, the Police seized addictive substances such as 400 grams of Ganja, 3 blots of LSD, 2 grams of unknown drug, 120 liquor bottles, 3 Laptops, 2 cameras, 76 mobile phones, 15 cars, 30 bikes, 1 generator mounted vehicle and other things from the rave party.
C.P. Rachakonda has warned partygoers, youth not to indulge in such illegal activities & spoil their future and that parents have a lot of expectations from wards. C.P. has also cautioned parents to keep a watch on children.
Advertising of this event was done through Instagram social media page with the handle “Psydamru”. Based on specific information to C.P. Rachakonda directly, this raid was conducted. ....

In spite of the coronavirus restrictions, around 700 people gathered to attend a marriage function at Kalyan in Maharashtra s Thane district, following which police have registered a case against its organisers, civic authorities said.
The event was held on March 10, the Kalayn Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) said in a statement on Thursday.

MESICK â Holding out hope that the state will further relax gathering restrictions before the beginning of May, the organizers of the annual Mesick Jeep Blessing are going ahead with the event, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
Starting out as a handful of Jeep enthusiasts who would take to the trails outside Mesick following a short prayer at a local church, the Jeep Blessing has grown into one of Northern Michiganâs largest events, drawing thousands of people and off-road vehicles to the corner of North M-37 and M-115 every spring.
Last year, due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19, event founder Deb Stafford and other organizers made the decision to not hold the event; instead they shared a video of the blessing on their website and social media channels. ....
