NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Standing in front of a permanent memorial for the late Dr. Martin Luther King Junior, Mayor Latoya Cantrell reflected on the day.
“This is a day to remember, to celebrate, and to act,” Cantrell said.
And Cantrell announced action her administration is taking to restructure the city’s procurement process to ensure minority-owned businesses get their share of city government contracts. ....
