Pinnick's Plaudits for Falode, NWFL after 'Fabulous' Super Six Tournament

President of the Nigeria Football Federation and FIFA Council Member, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick has heaped plaudits on the Chairman of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode and her board for the excellent organization of the just-concluded Super 6 Tournament held in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
âI must commend Aisha (Falode) and her board for the efforts that went into putting up such a showpiece. It was a fabulous event in all facets and I believe the NWFL as a whole deserve our praise. Enyimba Petition CAF on Plans by Rivers Utd to Use Thugs against Them

The second leg fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup between Nigeria’s two clubs, Rivers United and Enyimba FC has taken a new dimension as the Aba team have petitioned the continental body of plans by the hosts to use thugs to intimidate them today in Port Harcourt.
Already, following the tension generated by the petition, CAF has already classified the Match as a “high risk” one.
Enyimba won the first leg in Aba 1-0 a week ago with the overall winners advancing to the money-spinning group stage of the Confederation Cup.

COVID-19: NFF Sets Up Special Task Force To Monitor Clubs Compliance With Protocols

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Nigeria Football Federation NFF, has put in place a special COVID-19 task force charged with working with the various League bodies to monitor compliance with the pandemic protocols by all football clubs at all levels of the Leagues in the country, among other responsibilities.
This was made known to Sports Writer on Monday by Chairman of the NFF Security Committee and Member of the Organising Committee for the African Nations Championship (CHAN), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau who heads the task force.
The Committee also has eminent medical practitioners like Dr. Kweku Tandoh, Dr Nekwu Okolugbo, Dr Rotimi Ogungbe and .Dr Babatunde Akinbinu as members. ....

The Nigeria Football Federation has empanneled a special COVID-19 task force charged with working with the various League bodies to monitor compliance with the COVID-19 protocols by all football clubs at all levels of the Leagues, among other responsibilities.
Chairman of the NFF Security Committee and Member of the Organising Committee for the African Nations Championship (CHAN), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau heads the task force, which has eminent medical practitioners like Dr Kweku Tandoh, Dr Nekwu Okolugbo, Dr Rotimi Ogungbe and Dr Babatunde Akinbinu as members. Chairman of the Rivers State Football Association and former Member of the NFF Executive Committee, Barrister Chris Green, is also a member of the task force that will as well recommend an effective and efficient way of verifying COVID-19 test reports submitted by all football clubs and officials at League venues. ....
