As National Apprenticeship Week reaches its midway point, Aldi - the UK’s fifth largest supermarket - is looking to recruit 96 apprentices across the Greater Manchester region in 2021.
The popular grocery retailer - which has numerous stores in and around Oldham - continues to embark on an ambitious growth period with its mission to operate 1,200 stores by 2025.

A MAJOR supermarket chain is looking to recruit 44 apprentices across the South East. Aldi has hired more than 2,000 apprentices since 2012, and the majority have been successful in securing permanent roles. The supermarket giant is offering several apprenticeships across its head office, stores and regional distribution centres. Apprentices working in the store will receive a salary of £190 per week in year one, rising to £283 per week in year three. Kelly Stokes, director of recruitment at Aldi, said: “Aldi’s apprentice programmes are a fantastic way to identify and support new diverse talent and ensure we employ the best people to help us achieve our ambitious growth plan and lead us into the future.
