Covid-19: Why asymptomatic people are less likely to transmit coronavirus

People without symptoms of Covid-19 are less likely to spread it as they won t be coughing or sneezing, expert say. (File photo)
Many viruses and bacteria have “purposefully evolved” to create those symptoms, because that is how they most effectively move from one host to another, he said.
Those without symptoms like coughing and sneezing are, however, at some risk of passing on the virus through talking and singing.
How much less likely is someone to transmit the virus if they aren’t showing symptoms?
