HONORED â The Childrenâs Hunger Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating childhood food insecurity, honored the Indian Creek Local School Districtâs Food Service team for their dedication to feeding students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff worked with the Bay 6 Project of Mingo Junction to serve an estimated 89,000 breakfast and lunch meals to children amid the shutdown and their efforts have earned accolades for the program. UNDER WAY â Projects are on schedule in the Indian Creek Local School District, where a new high school, seen in an aerial shot, and elementary building are under construction while Hills Elementary undergoes renovations to provide modern amenities.
WINTERSVILLE Progress is being made on construction and renovation projects in the Indian Creek Local School District with two sites to be ready for classes this fall.
Officials said work is proceeding as planned on the new Indian Creek High School and Cross Creek Elementary School as well as renovations at Hills Elementary, work that will bring all three sites into the modern era. The overall $63 million project will see the replacement of the current high school and Wintersville Elementary. ....

Osage Cemetery Association schedules March 11 meeting
TORONTO The Osage Cemetery Association will hold an informational meeting on March 11 at 1 p.m. at the Osage Church, township Road 242, Toronto.
Those with family members or loved ones who have been laid to rest at the cemetery, owners of burial plots or those interested in helping to preserve the future of the cemetery and church are welcome to attend to discuss the improvements of both the cemetery and the church.
Face masks are required for the safety of everyone in attendance.
