Representational image | Photo Credit: PTI Srinagar: Pakistan troops on Monday initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rampur sector of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, Pakistan violated the ceasefire by firing mortars and other weapons. A befitting response has been given by the Indian Army, the Chinar Corps said on Twitter today. This comes two days after Pakistani soldiers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district. The Army had earlier said that Pakistan resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and carrying out shelling with mortars. An army jawan, who had sustained injuries in a ceasefire violation, had succumbed to his injuries on Friday. ....
