New Delhi: The market-capitalisation to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) ratio has crossed 100% for the first time since October 2010. This essentially means that the value of all listed companies at current share prices is now more than India’s GDP. 
Market capitalisation refers to the total market value of a company’s outstanding shares and is calculated by multiplying the total shares by the current share price -its a measure of how much stock market investors think a particular company is worth.  ....
