Indiana County first responders were active on Tuesday.
Indiana Fire Companies 4 and 1 were called to an automatic fire alarm activation in Armstrong County on Route 156.  The call was reported at 3:05 PM, according to Indiana County 911.  However, Indiana’s response was called off en route.
Two vehicle accidents were reported Tuesday evening.  The first was for a crash on Indian Springs Road in White Township at 4:26 PM.  Indiana fire association was dispatched, along with State Police and Citizens Ambulance.  Indiana Fire Association assistant chief Ron Moreau said that the crash happened near the entrance to the former Ponderosa Restaurant and two vehicles were involved.  One person was taken to IRMC for treatment of injuries. ....
