TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)  Runners from across the country made their way to Terre Haute to take part in the Mile Race, a one mile national championship race.
Close to 400 people participated in the Wabash Valley Road Runners Club 4th of July race but this year there was a twist. Runners also competed for a national title.
Each event event hosted by the Wabash Valley Road Runners donates proceeds to a specific group or organization and they also award two scholarships per year.
Michael Dunagan, a 2019 scholarship recipient returned to take part in this year’s race and noticed a few changes. ....
