KWIRS seeks EFCC help on tax evasion in Kwara | Premium Times Nigeria

The Kwara Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) has solicited the support of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in dealing with the increasing rate of tax evasion in the state.
The Executive Chairman of KWIRS, Shade Omoniyi, made the appeal on Thursday when she led the management staff of the service on a working visit to the new Zonal Head of EFCC Ilorin Office, Usman Muktar.
“We are here to seek your support in tackling the menace of tax evasion in Kwara.
“We need the support of relevant government agencies like EFCC to curb tax evasion in public and private sectors within the state,” she said. ....

Mehta launches e-Kuber payments system in J&K
RBI’s payment system to replace existing government payment systems
JAMMU: Financial Commissioner Finance, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, formally rolled out e-Kuber payments system of Reserve Bank of India for Jammu and Kashmir here today.
General Manager RBI Jammu, Sandeep Mittal and Director General Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department, Mahesh Dass were present on the occasion.
The new payment system of RBI will replace the existing system for the purpose of government payments. All types of government payments including employee’s salaries and pensioner’s pensions would be done through RBI’s e-Kuber. ....
