The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 204 calls for service for the period of April 6 to April 13. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,019 calls for service.
Summonses
Dylan K. McLaughlin, 28, of Bremen was issued a summons April 6 for Operating after License Suspension, on Mills Road, Newcastle, by Sgt. Matthew Day.
Anthony S. Barnes, 61, of Wiscasset was issued summonses April 9 for Operating Vehicle with Expired License (over 90 days) and Failure to Stop at a Red Light, on Middle Street, Wiscasset, by Deputy Michael Godin.
Arrests
Rodney Palmer, 67, of Wiscasset was arrested April 7 for Domestic Violence Assault and on a warrant out of York County for Failure to Appear, on Birch Point Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Caleb Poirier, who was assisted by Sgt. Matthew Day. ....

Hazard Man Arrested in Somerset with Multiple Charges

Sheriff Greg Speck reports that on February 27, 2021 at approximately 6:44 PM, Deputy Trent Massey saw a black 2014 Hyundai on Jarvis Avenue driving erratically. Deputy Massey stopped the car at Jarvis Avenue and Maplewood Drive and as he got out of his vehicle to contact the driver, the vehicle drove away. The speed limit in this area was 35 MPH. The driver was traveling at 60 MPH and driving erratically, sometimes in the wrong lane. The vehicle turned onto Hillview Avenue and then driving in circles around the surrounding streets. The vehicle then drove off the roadway, down a muddy hill off Woods Avenue. The vehicle wrecked into a bed of rocks at the bottom of the hill. The driver left the vehicle and began running on foot towards Conley Drive. Deputy Massey was able to catch the suspect and place him under arrest. ....

Man leads sheriff's deputy on pursuit

A Hazard man was recently arrested by the Pulaski County Sheriff s Office after leading authorities on a pursuit, first on the the road then on foot.
Johnny Dylan Turner, 21, was taken into custody and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center following the incident, which took place at around 6:45 p.m. last Saturday, February 27. 
According to the sheriff s office, Deputy Trent Massey saw a black 2014 Hyundai being driven erratically on Jarvis Avenue. Massey stopped the car at Jarvis Avenue and Maplewood Drive, and as he got out of the car to contact the driver, the vehicle drove away. ....
