Lambton public health is urging passengers who used a Sarnia cab company in late March and early April to get tested for COVID-19 after four of the company’s drivers tested positive for the virus.
While Blu Light taxis have barriers between drivers and their fares, and masks are mandatory, passengers between March 21 and April 8 still should make sure, public health officials said.

Expanded hours at COVID-19 assessment centres in Lambton have made a difference, but delays remain amid high demand and appointment no-shows, local health officials say.
“It’s just another reminder to folks – sometimes people are booking multiple sites and not going back in to cancel,” said Bluewater Health vice-president Laurie Zimmer, “and then all of those sites have the appointments blocked and people can’t get access.”
