A Red Wing resident is facing multiple second-degree assault and threats of violence charges after allegedly firing multiple rounds into a home located on Featherstone Road shortly before midnight on May 3.
Dylan Richard Marrison, 18, was booked into the Goodhue County Jail the following day on four second-degree assault charges, four threats of violence charges, and one dangerous weapons-intentional discharge of firearm that endangers safety charge. All are felony level.Â
According to a criminal complaint:
Eric Deegan contacted authorities after a shooting took place at his home on Featherstone Road.Â
No one was injured as a result of the shooting and Deeganâs nephews were home at the time of the shooting.Â

The Red Wing Police Department responded to the 600 block of Featherstone Road on the evening of Monday, May 3 for a report of gunshots near a residence. During their investigation, officers located a home with several bullet holes and spent shell casings around the residence. Officers conducted interviews and were made aware of a suspect.
On Tuesday, May 4 officers were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody without incident. The suspect is currently in law enforcement custody on pending charges.
At this time, the Red Wing Police Department believes this was an isolated incident and there is no other threat to the public. RED WING The Red Wing Police Department made an arrest Tuesday in connection with a report of gunshots that was made Monday.
On Monday evening, the RWPD responded to a call in the 600 block of Featherstone Road for a report of gunshots near a residence. During their investigation, officers located a home with several bullet holes and spent shell casings around the residence. Officers conducted interviews and were made aware of a suspect, according to a statement from the police department.
On Tuesday, officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident, the statement read. RWPD stated it believes this was an isolated incident and there is no other threat to the public.
