Boogaloo member, 22, pleads guilty to terrorism charge as he and co-conspirators tried to sell firearm suppressors to Hamas after traveling to Minneapolis to sow unrest during George Floyd protests
Benjamin Ryan Teeter, 22, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization
Prosecutors say Teeter and another man, Michael Robert Solomon, 30, built firearms suppressors that authorities believed the pair sold to Hamas
They also allegedly offered to fight as mercenaries for the group
Teeter said during his plea hearing that he believed the suppressors would be used by Hamas military wing
He also shared that he hoped Hamas would help the pair to exit the country and open a training facility ....

Boogaloo Boi pleads guilty to attempting to provide weapons to Hamas

On Wednesday, at a US District Court in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Benjamin Ryan Teeter, a 22-year-old self-described member of the right-wing paramilitary Boogaloo Bois group, pleaded guilty to charges that he sought to sell weapons to Hamas.
In court, Teeter added that he and co-defendant Robert Solomon hoped Hamas, which is designated by the US as a terrorist group, would help them exit the country and open a training facility for the Boogaloo Bois.
This case highlights the real threat posed by domestic violent extremists who self-radicalize and threaten to violently attack others opposed to their views, with little or no warning, said Michael Paul, special agent in charge of the FBI s Minneapolis field office. ....
