1/1 A COUNTY man who became aggressive during an altercation with a man in North Berwick later tried to rob an elderly man at a cash machine while holding a knife. Ryan Malcolm, 29, shouted threats of violence towards Guy Thomson while in possession of a knife or similar implement at the town’s Lodge Grounds last year. Two weeks later, Malcolm then uttered threats to rob an 82-year-old man at the cash machine outside Tesco in Haddington. Malcolm looked over the man’s shoulder and looked at his PIN while shouting and swearing. Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard that he made threats to rob the 82-year-old while in possession of a knife or similar implement during the incident on September 24 last year.

Oshawa Generals forward Ty Tullio has been drafted by the Edmonton Oilers.
Picked in the fifth round, 126th overall by the Oilers, Tullio has spent his entire junior career with the Gens.
In the shortened 2019-2020 season, Tullio amassed 66 points, comprised of 27 goals and 39 assists in 62 games.
In a video statement, he says the draft was one of the best experiences he’s ever had.
“I’m going to hold this forever and ever,” he says. “It was a little bit of a long wait, but at the same time, I can’t wait to get started with the club.”
Hometown: Waterdown, Ont.
Mitchell Brewer is in the midst of his third season as an Oshawa General, but the defensive minded d-man is not having the same success he normally does with the puck. So far this season, Brewer has yet to score his first goal, and has amassed seven assists.
