Any organization in the Mohawk Valley or North Country that offers programs to help improve community health, promote equal health care, support health education or help battle coronavirus are qualified to apply. “The company’s Community Health Awards demonstrate a corporate commitment to support local organizations that share our mission as a nonprofit health plan,” said Eve Van de Wal, regional president at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. “These awards complement our existing grants and sponsorships with agencies that work to improve community health in upstate New York.”
