MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Memphis man is behind bars after allegedly firing gunshots at an officer and filing a false police report, according to the Memphis Police Department.
On Tuesday, April 27, an officer was patrolling the area of S. Parkway West when he heard multiple gunshots near S. Parkway and Flordia St.
As he pulled over to investigate, he spotted a driver in a black Infiniti sedan speeding and run a red light. ....

Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 7, 2021 at 4:09 a.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling in the right lane of I 78 traversing west when it struck the righthand side of Unit 2, a 2016 Dodge Journey, driven by Operator 2, a 24 year old Chambersburg woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 34 year old Chambersburg man, and Passenger 2, an 11 year old Chambersburg female. Unit 2 sustained disabling damage to the front right wheel and right side. Upon contact from Unit 1, Unit 2 came to a complete stop in the lefthand lane of I 78 West. Unit 2 came to final rest facing west in the lefthand lane of travel. Operator 1 failed to remain at the scene with Unit 1 following the crash. Operator 2, Passenger 1, and Passenger 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash and did not sustain any injuries. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Joe May’s Towing. ....

Suicide Attempt – On Jan. 17, 2021 at approximately 5:15 p.m., PSP Jonestown was dispatched to the residence located on the 00 block of Cottage Ln. in Millcreek Twp. for a report of an unconscious female who was suspected to have overdosed. The Victim’s boyfriend contacted 911 after he discovered the Victim unconscious in the bathroom of the residence. It is believed the Victim attempted to commit suicide by ingesting an unknown amount of a prescribed pill substance(s). The Victim was transported to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon City for treatment.

Accident – On Jan. 8 at 11:33 p.m. at 100 Tuck Street, a 51 year old Lebanon man was attempting to back out of a stall and struck the side of a 55 year old Lebanon woman in the driver side front and rear doors. Damage was minor to both vehicles. No injuries reported, vehicles were driven. ....
