Gym giant picks Airlock as part of Essential Eight measures

Australian cybersecurity provider Airlock Digital s Airlock allowlisting product is being used by gym operator Fitness & Lifestyle Group and other brands as part of their Essential Eight cyber mitigation strategies.
Airlock implements application control – the first of the Australian Cyber Security Centre s (ACSC) Essential Eight to mitigate cyber security incidents. If approved applications are the only ones allowed to run, there is much less chance of ransomware or other malware getting a foothold in a system.
Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) – which operates under brands such as Fitness First and Jetts – is using Airlock as part of its Essential Eight measures. The company has more than 500 gym locations across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia, and offers on-demand digital health and fitness programmes. ....

Private equity firm Arq Group's 300pc tech company transformation

A year on from Quadrant Private Equity’s acquisition of beleaguered tech services company Arq Group, the business has become an end-to-end digital transformation technology provider and had its earnings quadruple.
The business is virtually unrecognisable compared with the one Quadrant acquired as part of a consortium for $35 million, with chief executive Tristan Sternson saying it had “retired” its former data centre operations, as well as some of its consulting practices.
Arq Group CEO Tristan Sternson says the company has been completely transformed since it was acquired by Quadrant.
