Monrovia – At the height of the debate surrounding the distribution of food and other supplies related to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, the World Food Program (WFP) declared that was independently managing resources from the Liberian Government’s COVID-19 Household Food Support Program (COHFSP) budget, and that the government managing the resources.
In a June 2020 statement, the WFP disclosed that the total budget of the COHFSP was set at US$30 million, comprising the cost of the food basket comprising rice, beans and vegetable oil, as well as costs of storing, transporting and delivering the assistance to vulnerable households targeted through this program. ....

US$24.45 Million for TT citizens affected by COVID-19
Acting Minister of Planning and Development, Senator the Honourable Allyson West, announces the Support for Vulnerable Populations Affected by Coronavirus in Trinidad and Tobago (SUVPAC) Programme. This agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) was signed on Tuesday 23
rd February, 2021 and was discussed during a bilateral meeting with the IDB’s President, Mr Mauricio Claver-Carone on Friday 26
th February, 2021. “This agreement will support minimum income for those affected by the coronavirus in the immediate period and during the recovery. The agreement does not see Trinidad and Tobago taking on additional debt but instead redirects existing uncommitted loan resources to new and urgent high priority public investment areas that require financing during this critical period” stated Minister West. ....
