LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM)   As of Wednesday, April 28, the state’s official COVID-19 tracking website shows that 833,891 Michigan residents have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Since March 10, when the first death was reported, 17,467 Michiganders have died from the acute respiratory illness.
A Breakdown of COVID-19 Data
The 24-hour data increase shows that 4,371 more people have contracted the virus. In addition, there were 38 new deaths.
On Saturday, May 23 the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services also announced changes to how COVID-19 testing data is reported to make it more accurate and relevant as the state continues to expand diagnostic testing. ....

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM)   As of Tuesday, April 27, the state’s official COVID-19 tracking website shows that 829,520 Michigan residents have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Since March 10, when the first death was reported, 17,429 Michiganders have died from the acute respiratory illness.
A Breakdown of COVID-19 Data
The 24-hour data increase shows that 3,676 more people have contracted the virus. In addition, there were 105 new deaths. Officials say 48 of those deaths were identified later through reviews of vital records.

Since March 10, when the first death was reported, 17,324 Michiganders have died from the acute respiratory illness.
A Breakdown of COVID-19 Data
The weekend data increase includes numbers from Sunday and Monday, and shows that 6,524 more people have contracted the virus. In addition, there were 35 new deaths.
