Thousands of runners will converge on Hertfordshire on Sunday when Hatfield Park hosts the Vitality London 10,000 run and Vitality Mile.
The Vitality London 10,000 was originally scheduled to be held in central London on the late May Bank Holiday weekend, but was cancelled on March 31 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 10km run will now take place in the grounds of Hatfield House on Sunday, July 11. Entries are now closed.
Organised by London Marathon Events (LME), the mass participation run will see two 10K events in the morning – one with a socially distanced start, and a mass start with no social distancing measures. ....

Man who ran London Marathon in wife's memory says next one is 'for me' | Richmond and Twickenham Times

A man who ran the London Marathon carrying some of his late wife’s ashes said this year he is running to thank Macmillan for the charity’s help to make life move forward.
Chris Rose’s wife Angela died aged 40 in February 2019, 18 months after being diagnosed with breast cancer and weeks before he ran the Virgin Money London Marathon.
Mrs Rose, who enjoyed keeping fit, had hoped to run the London Marathon and her widower carried some of her ashes in a wristband so they could cross the finish line together, raising £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I'm A Celebrity winner Giovanna Fletcher says she hated her body before long journey to self-confidence

Invalid Date,
When Giovanna Fletcher was crowned Queen of the Castle last month, following three weeks living off the notoriously meagre I’m A Celebrity! rations (700 calories a day, plus the odd bull’s penis), her good friend Matt Willis suggested she would have to buy a whole new wardrobe.
Giovanna’s response was to laugh out loud. Because, just like most women with a lifetime of yo-yoing behind them, she was more than covered clothes-wise for a change in weight.
