ಮೈಸೂರು: ‘ಹುಲಿ ಇರದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮನೆಯ ಕೊಳಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಬಾರದು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಕಾಫಿಯನ್ನು ಆಸ್ವಾದಿಸ
ಲಾಗದು. ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ನೆಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪಿನಕಾಯಿ ಸವಿ ಉಪಹಾರದೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಿಗದು. 10 ಹುಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ನೇರ ಅಥವಾ ಪರೋಕ್ಷ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆದಾಯ ₹ 5.96 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ....!‌’
– ಇಂಥ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ನಗರದ ಚಾಮರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಹುಲಿ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಗುರುವಾರ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ವೆಬಿನಾರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಕೇಳುಗರನ್ನು ಮೋಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದವು.
ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ತಜ್ಞ ಸಂಜಯ ಗುಬ್ಬಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ‘ಹುಲಿಯು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂಪತ್ತು, ಜೀವವೈವಿಧ್ಯದ ಉಳಿವಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹುಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೆ ಇಡೀ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಸ್ಯ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದಂತೆ. ತರಕರಡಿ, ಚಿಪ್ಪು ಹಂದಿ, ಚಿಂಕಾರ, ಮಂಗಟ್ಟೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಅಳಿವಿನಂಚಿನ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ– ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು’ ಎಂದರು.
‘ಹುಲಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆನೆಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೂ ಸೇರಿದೆ. ಆನೆಗಳು ಕಾಡಿನ ಪಾಲಕರು. ಸಸ್ಯ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅವು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದ ಸಗಣಿ ಹುಳಗಳು, ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಗಳು ಆನೆ ಹಾಕುವ ಸಗಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೋಡಿಯಂ– ಖನಿಜಗಳನ್ನು ಹೀರುತ್ತವೆ. ಬೀಜ ಪ್ರಸರಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಅರಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಲು– ವಿಸ್ತಾರಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆನೆಗಳು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
‘ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಗಿರಿ, ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ, ಬಂಡೀಪುರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಗಳು, ಸತ್ಯಮಂಗಲ, ಬಿಆರ್‌ಟಿ, ಮಲೆ ಮಹ
ದೇಶ್ವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟ, ಕಾವೇರಿ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಧಾಮದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು ಕಾವೇರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಉಪನದಿಗಳ ನೀರಿನ ಮೂಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹುಲಿಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರ ಜೀವನಾಡಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾವೇರಿಯ ಉಳಿವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಿದರು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಶೇ 62ರಷ್ಟು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಜಲಮೂಲಗಳಿಂದ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಕೊರತೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟುಗಳು ತುಂಬದಿದ್ದರೆ ಬರ ಆವರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಕಾಫಿ ಹೂವಿನ ಪರಾಗಸ್ಪರ್ಶ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನದ ಜೇನು, ಇತರ ಕೀಟಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಐಎಫ್‌ಎಸ್‌ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಾಕೇತ್‌ ಬದೊಲ, ಮೃಗಾಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅಜಿತ್ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
‘₹ 1 ಹೂಡಿಕೆಗೆ ₹ 2,500 ಲಾಭ’: ಬಂಡೀಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ₹ 2,500 ಲಾಭ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾಗಾರ್ಜುನ ಸಾಗರ ಶ್ರೀಶೈಲ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದ ಲಾಭ ₹ 7,489. ಚಿನ್ನ– ಪ್ಲಾಟಿನಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಇಷ್ಟು ಲಾಭ ಸಿಗದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಂಜಯ್‌ ಗುಬ್ಬಿ ಅವರು, ದೇಶದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹುಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಅರಣ್ಯಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಹುಲಿಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಅರಣ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಕರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಪಾರ. ಹುಲಿ ಬೇಟೆ ತಡೆಯಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಅರಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರು ಇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿಯೇ 2011ರಿಂದ 2021ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಭೌಗೋಳಿಕ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣದ ಶೇ 2ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಕಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 29 (ANI): Greeting the forest department of the state on the occasion of World Tiger Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday said the state which is known as the 'Tiger State' is not only committed to saving tigers but also to make efforts towards increasing their population.
The Chief Minister made special mention of the successful tiger restoration in Panna Tiger Reserve and also expressed happiness over the increasing number of tigers in the dense forests of Satpura.
