The New Mexico Department of Health today announced the details of its vaccine equity plan - a statewide effort to ensure that vaccine goes to the most exposed and vulnerable New Mexicans.“New Mexico is using its doses more efficiently than any state in the country - and we’re ensuring that while supplies are limited, those doses go to the places where they can save the most lives and stop the spread of this virus most effectively,” said DOH Secretary Dr. Tracie Collins.The plan includes: I. According to the New Mexico Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard, as of February 25th, Grant County has fully vaccinated a total 2,054 residents for a total of 8.9% of its population. In addition, Luna County has fully vaccinated 1,676 residents for a total 9.0%; Hidalgo County at 357 residents for a total of 10.5%; and Catron County for a total of 384 residents for a total 12.1%.
