THERE is a school of thought and many people that now put Sunday Igboho, the Yoruba secession advocate in the same position as the holy prophet; they brazenly refer to him as a prophet like prophet Muhammad (SAW). This is not only blasphemous; it is also a sacrilegious statement and a big insult to the entire Muslim communities across the globe.
Comparing the tribulations of the Yoruba revolutionist, Sunday Igboho to the plight suffered by our beloved prophet shows that ignorance runs high among the people. If they do not know how things need to be put, they should ask those that know. It is wrong to tarnish the image of the holy prophet by comparing Sunday Igboho to him; especially at this moment when the country is facing serious challenges and the Muslim communities are still battling with the Abduljabbar issue trying to bury it, then the media platform should have handled the story with professionalism.
