Raleigh-based therapist Stephanie Turner says fear of needles may be a problem for up to 25 percent of the population. And for seven to 10 percent, it s extreme fear.
Dizziness, fatigue, and anxiety, heart palpitations. Blood pressure raised up. But then also for some people it can actually go into total avoidance, where people who are not even seeking medical treatments or dental treatments, so it can be really difficult for people. Turner says some people will develop syncope, vasovagal syncope, when they actually faint.
So then, what do you do in this age of COVID, when so much depends on getting vaccinated? ....

Keizo Shimizu‘s cult Japanese imprint NEEDLES has released a pair of mules, bringing its famous “Papillon” motif to 2020 (and probably 2021’s) most important piece of footwear.
The “Papillon” motif or butterfly for those who don’t speak French is NEEDLES’ signature branding stamp. Now, the logo finds itself appearing in its classic embroidered purple look on the top vamp section of each foot, complementing the black PVC base that’s covered in purple paisley-esque floral graphics.
NEEDLES’ slip-on pair is contrasted by a black rubber sole unit that’s rounded off with a purple outsole, as well as a black trim that lines the collar opening of the mule. Inside, you’ll find soft and fuzzy footbeds branded with NEEDLES’ moniker in metallic gold, further adding to the luxury of this pair. ....
