There will be some job losses and potential transfers for employees at Saskatoon’s Nutrien corporate offices.
According to a statement sent out by Nutrien Potash CEO Ken Seitz, there are “fewer than 50 employees” affected, although he didn’t say just how many there are exactly.
“Nutrien has a responsibility to ensure our operations are as efficient as possible and determine how to best meet the needs of the market and our stakeholders,” Seitz said in the statement.
“We have identified a need to drive efficiencies in our finance department to remain competitive in our industry and we will be making some changes that impact jobs across our North American locations.” ....
