Thunder Bay's Fortin invited to Canada's U-18 camp

CALGARY Thunder Bay defender Kendra Fortin has been invited to take part in Canada s women s national hockey team under-18 camp in Calgary later this summer.
Fortin, 18, who will be a freshman at Bemidji State University this fall, was invited to last year s camp too, but because of COVID-19, was unable to participate in on-ice activities.
“My family and I are proud and honored to be selected to the Under-18 roster again this year and I am really looking forward to participating in camp, especially after being out of competition for the last year and half,” said Fortin in a release posted by Bemidji State. ....
