Doncaster West also saw its Edlington Police Station re-opened as a base for officers early last year as part of the move towards improving that area of policing.
And the Doncaster East neighbourhood also recently saw two officers starting community policing roles, targeting Armthorpe, Hatfield and Dunscroft. They are already working on specific projects within that area, revealed their neighbourhoods inspector, Insp Alison Carr.
