Leadership of Niger Delta Youth and hundreds of women yesterday issued a 28-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to inaugurate a new board for the Niger Delta Development (NDDC) or face their wrath.
According to them, failure by the Federal government to do the needful would lead to protests that the Government will regret like last year’s EndSARS protest.

Speaking in Warri, Delta State, coordinator of the Youth council, Jator Abido said if the board is not inaugurated as demanded within that time, “we will have no option than to shut down the economy of the region to ensure that no proceed goes to the national treasury for sharing.” ....
