ENFIELD CT People s United Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of People s United Bank, announced Monday that an Enfield organization is part of an award package totaling $989,589 f0r the first grant cycle of 2021.
In all, to 150 non-profits are receiving grants, including the Enfield Network Against Domestic Violence.
The awards are being distributed throughout the People s United footprint, covering Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Grants awarded will support critical community programs including food aid, small business assistance, youth education and mentoring programs, as well as homelessness prevention, supportive housing, and employment services, among other initiatives.
