A trio of the horses that are part of the former Meyers Lake Amusement Park carousel now the Bushnell Park Carousel in Hartford, Conn. will have their tether to Stark County tightened.
Surviving members of the Stadelman family, with ties to Meyers Lake through the family matriarch who died in 2015, have donated $15,000 to complete restoration of the Bushnell Park Carousel, which began almost a decade ago. We have done this in honor of our mother, Diana Lynch Stadelman, who dedicated almost half of her life to the village of Meyers Lake, serving as mayor of the village for over 30 years, said Tracy Stadelman of Meyers Lake, who spearheaded the effort that includes her sister Kristen Stadelman of Meyers Lake and Ben Stadelman of Jacksonville, Fla.

The Orangeville & Area Small Business Enterprise Centre is part of a larger network of 54 Small Business Centres (SBC) across the province. SBCs offer a range of free business support services to entrepreneurs who are starting or growing their ventures. Through the support of the Ontario Government, SBC Ontario recently launched a new website www.sbcontario.ca. to increase access and awareness of the Centres’ services in their role as the Ontario COVID-19 Economic Recovery Network.
The SBC Ontario website serves as a central portal connecting the 54 regional Centres and creating an online delivery model that eliminates geographic barriers to services. This move has increased collaboration and resource sharing among the SBC offices, creating the opportunity for the new centralized body SBC Ontario.
