Mask up: Artist sends unique masks to Ellwood City area

Artist Jenica Jones, a former Ellwood City area resident, started making her own face masks because she couldn t find any she like when first quarantined because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But the 2002 Riverside High School graduate, now living in California, has since made hundreds of unique masks, many of them making their own back to her hometown.
Jones initially set a goal of making 1,000, but she said she won t quit while there still is a need.
I make them because I care and it is gratifying to make the masks. In early March the Bay area was quickly quarantined and I couldn t find a mask, so I made my first one on March 27, and I have made more than 700, selling a few and donating most, Jones said recently. I feel guilty when I take money for them, so I donate the money. ....
