SNOW has started to fall in parts of Evesham having escaped the overnight blanket that covered most of Worcestershire. While Worcester, Redditch, Bromsgrove and even areas as close as Pershore woke up to the white stuff, there was nothing in Evesham until around 10am. Reports are coming in that the weather has made its way south as anticipated by forecasters yesterday (Sunday) with the Met Office’s yellow weather warning for snow and ice still in place across the county until 6pm tonight (Monday, December 28). The current Met Office forecast, updated at 9am, shows up to 90 per cent chance of snow between now and 1pm. From there is it expected to subside.
