Mystery Road, Hungry Ghosts and
Retrograde have taken out top gongs in the Equity Ensemble Awards 2021.
The actors who starred in these programs were voted the most outstanding Australian small screen ensembles in their respective categories by the MEAA Equity National Performers’ Committee (NPC).
Equity president Jason Klarwein says: “There’s never been a more important time to celebrate Australian stories and the talented MEAA members who bring them to life. As our industry begins to recover from the last 12 months we must stand together and campaign for more quality local productions like our finalists and winners across every platform”. ....

Siblings raise hundreds for Zac's Fund with cold baked bean bath

SIBLINGS bathed in a paddling pool full of baked beans at the weekend in memory of their friend Zac, who died at the age of just two.
Esther Hannaford, eight and brother Robin, four from Wallingford, raised money for Zac’s Fund by being sponsored to sit in a paddling pool of full baked beans on their front lawn. Zac’s Fund was set up in memory of Zac to help raise money to support grieving families after the death of a child.
Mum, Katie Hannaford said: “It was really cold but they stuck at it and made it a lot of fun. Friends and neighbours came out to support them, with a few people pouring beans over their heads. Zac’s mum, granddad, Auntie and cousin were also here supporting them, which meant a lot.” ....

A BROTHER and sister will be bathing in a paddling pool full of baked beans in memory of their two-year-old friend Zac.
Eight-year-old Esther Hannaford and brother four-year-old Robin from Wallingford, will be raising money for Zac’s Fund by being sponsored to sit in a paddling pool of baked beans on their front lawn.
Mum Katie Hannaford is encouraging friends and family to come and pour in a tin of beans if they are passing by.
Zac was the siblings friend and neighbour and a Just Giving page has been set up in Zac s memory to help raise money to support grieving families. ....
