Visitor Support Volunteers are needed to work within the wider âSafer Lakesâ team to help guide and advise all visitors in some of the busiest places in the Lake District.   Â

Grasmere and Rydal.
Keswick to Threlkeld.
Volunteers need to be confident and comfortable talking to the public, have a passion for the Lake District and be willing to share their enthusiasm for and knowledge of the National Park with all visitors.Â

A leading fashion designer has joined the Lake District Foundation as an ambassador.
Lee Paton is a bespoke couturier who has his own fashion house in London and is currently creating the first couture fashion house in Cumbria.
He grew up in Cumbria, trained at London College of Fashion, interned at Alexander McQueen and then worked on the famous Londonâs Savile Row.
He launched his own fashion house in 2010 and the brandâs work has been featured in many British and overseas publications including Vogue, Tatler, Harperâs Bazaar, InStyle, Elle and The Financial Times.
