Hampden Twp. approves preliminary plans for two developments Updated Jan 10, 2021; The Hampden Township Board of Commissioners on Thursday night approved the preliminary land development plans for two housing developments. That included approval of the plan for The Point at Sporting Hill, a proposed development to be built on a 2.67-acre site that will feature 39 units. A condition was added that the development add a connection to adjacent Cumberland Avenue. It also gave approval to the preliminary subdivision and land development plan for Hunters Glen. The proposed development will be built on a 72.49-acre site and have 49 units. Two acres are located in Hampden Township with the balance in Silver Spring Township. A condition was added that one of the two roads connecting to Hunters Drive will accommodate emergency use. ....
