CALDWELL, Idaho Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Dayo Onanubosi serves as a judge in Canyon County and has an extensive law background here in Idaho.
He got both his undergraduate degree in political science and his law degree from the University of Idaho.
After graduating from law school in 1993, he worked for Idaho Legal Aid in Twin Falls. 
He also previously worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney and a public defender in Canyon County.  ....

The police killings of Black people like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and countless others this year have sparked a movement unlike any in recent memory, as calls to defund the police and dismantle white supremacy have moved into the mainstream. 
But even as state and local governments in New York, Minneapolis and Louisville change how they police Black communities, many voices say it’s 
white people who need to make change on an individual level. And that change needs to begin at home, with white children.
We know beginning this conversation can be difficult, but it is essential.
