DELPHOS With the Fifth Street Waterline Project wrapping up,
Delphos City Council learned Monday evening that ODOT will begin the
Fifth Street Paving Project next week.
“As many of you may have
noticed by the addition of construction barrels along Fifth Street, the
roadway project is almost ready to begin,” Delphos Safety Service

Council to continue talk about turf project

DELPHOS Council expressed interest in continued discussion of the
synthetic turf project at Stadium Park. Interim Parks and Rec Committee
Chair Jeff Klausing brought the issue to the floor at Monday’s meeting
to gauge his fellow councilmen’s interest in the project.
The Park
and Rec Committee and the remainder of council met with Champions
Field, Inc., on Jan. 22 and learned the group has already raised more
than $800,000 toward the nearly $1 million project to replace the
natural grass field at Stadium Park with turf.
