South Korean man faces child sex charges in Prattville
PRATTVILLE A South Korean man is facing eight felony child sex charges in Prattville.
Heojin Kim, 29, who is living in Montgomery, faces two counts of rape in the second degree, three counts of electronic solicitation of a child and three counts of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, said Police Chief Mark Thompson. He was arrested in Prattville about noon Tuesday.
Rape in the second degree generally involves an underage victim. In Alabama the age of consent is 16.
Thompson declined to release more information about the case, citing it s ongoing nature and the fact that it involves a juvenile. ....
