OSWEGO, IL The Home and School Association of the Fox Chase Elementary School in Oswego has announced its annual scholarship program that helps students continue their education.
Corresponding secretary of the association, Kathy Mayyou, said this scholarship is a good way to recognize the efforts of the Fox Chase students every year, but especially all that the current seniors have had to overcome and miss out on this particular year.
The two $500 scholarships are open to seniors at Oswego High School and Oswego East High School who graduated from Fox Chase Elementary School. These will be awarded based on academic performance, extracurricular achievements and an essay. ....
