PHOENIX Fire crews responded to a second alarm fire near 16th Street and Camelback in Central Phoenix on Friday afternoon. The building quickly collapsed.
Authorities say the two-story building was abandoned when the fire broke out on the second floor.
Crews were able to control the fire using ladder trucks to hose the fire from above.
About 20 office workers from a nearby complex were evacuated as a precaution, and no one is reported to have been hurt. ....
