'Unite Virginia' network to receive CARES Act funding - State of Reform


Virginia will allocate $10 million of CARES Act funding to Unite Virginia, a technology platform that connects Virginians to health and social service providers. Governor Ralph Northam announced the decision on Friday.
The commonwealth will work in tandem with Unite Us, a technology company that “builds coordinated care networks of health and social service providers” across the country. Unite Virginia will include health care providers, government agencies, COVID-19 relief efforts and community-based partners in its network. 
 
 
“This is about connecting people with the support they need to live healthy lives,” Gov. Northam said. “Having this critical infrastructure in place will also position our commonwealth to better respond to and recover from the twin public health and economic crises we face, and advance health equity by ensuring medical care and social services are appropriately delivered to Virginians, reducing barriers to care, and identifyi ....

RICHMOND Governor Ralph Northam announced Friday that Virginia will allocate $10 million in federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to create Unite Virginia, a statewide technology platform designed to connect vulnerable Virginians to health and social services. RICHMOND, Va. (WHSV/Office of Gov. Northam Press Release) Governor Ralph Northam announced Friday the state will allocate $10 million in federal CARES Act funding to create Unite Virginia, a statewide technology platform designed to connect Virginians to health and social services.
