Greg Barton has been awarded the MBE
A SPECIALIST pharmacist in critical care and burns at Whiston Hospital has been awarded an MBE for services to pharmacy, in the Queen’s New Year Honours List.
Greg Barton, who lives in Rainford, has worked at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust for more than 20 years.
He started as a pre-registration pharmacist in 1998 and has been a specialist pharmacist for 16 years.
The former Rainford High pupil also performs the role of Critical Care Group Chair for the United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association.
The Trust says that during the pandemic, Greg, a father-of-three, has played a crucial role in a range of national pharmacy initiatives. ....
