Winners announced in second week of Ohio's COVID-19 vaccine lottery


Ohio will announce two more winners in its weekly Vax-a-Million drawing Wednesday night.
For the second week in a row, Ohio will give $1 million to one vaccinated adult and a four-year college scholarship to a child age 12 to 17.
The winners were selected Monday at the Ohio Lottery Commission offices in Cleveland. The drawing was conducted by a random number generator and observed by a member of the Ohio auditor s office. The Ohio Department of Health then verified the winners had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
This week’s drawing included 3,225,789 adult entries in the drawing for $1 million, and 132,903 Ohioans age 12 to 17 entered the drawing for a college scholarship. ....
